People share content on social media for the following reasons: as a way of
providing entertainment, to define people, to make existing relationships grow, to
achieve a feeling of fulfillment and advocate for various and issues. (“Someone Figured

My brand, project, and/or professional goal buyer persona is any military family
who wishes to better the lives of their immediate family members. I really aim to give
military families some sort of relief from the daily struggles of being a military family.
Often times, when husbands, wives, or both are deployed, the family back home are in
limbo. What I mean by that is a lot of focus is solely on the person enlisted. I want to
bring awareness that the family supporting that person(s) enlisted, has struggles too.
They need to be supported and know that someone is there for them, even though
their wife, husband, or partner is not by their side.
The person who hires me to create a film or to create something else for them would
be understanding regarding the struggles that many dependents face. They would be
seeking to advocate to better the lives of the families regarding the mentioned issues.
They would also share online via electronic media expressing encouragement for the
military family community, and asking others to show compassion to the affected
people.

The most surprising thing about the seven steps to gain more shares is that
email is still the king when it comes to marketing. Email has been one of the oldest
means of communication. With the world shifting to new trends through electronic
media, the concept of marketing shifts in the same direction. This thus makes it
surprising to know that email is still the number one means of communication in
marketing regardless of the advancement in social media.
I would leverage my story to create support before content by using YouTube
and other social media sharing sites. (“Digital Marketing for Transmedia – Lizzie Bennet
Diaries – Pt 2 | From Search to Screen”, 2018) This would see me leak hints on what
the viewers should expect. This would be done in a manner that arouses curiosity in the
viewers hence building the anticipation
The reasons to focus on the audience are: the audience can be turned into a
source of money, the audience can be used to create referrals for the film and the
audience is there so that the film creates a connection with it. (“The Importance of the
Discoverers (aka the Audience) | From Search to Screen”, 2018). The story telling
principle that I rely on is that of ensuring the spread of the story hence activating the
audience. (“Seth’s Blog: Simple questions for writers”, 2018) Through this principle, I
am able to apply the trick of making the story as simple as possible for the audience to
understand and address issues in the society so that people can identify with the story.
